This Is What Snezana Markoski Is Eating In The Lead Up To Her Wedding Day

They’re one of the cutest couples in The Bachelor Australia history, so when Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski got engaged in December 2015, fans (including the entire Women’s Health crew) were stoked.

And with Snez recently Instagramming a heap of throwback relationship photos, as well as changing her Insta handle to include her surname-to-be, speculation is rife that the big day isn’t far away.

While the couple’s lips are sealed on the actual wedding date (boo), the 37-year-old mum of two (who has a degree in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology) is more than happy to share the food and fitness secrets she’s using to feel her best on the day.

“My body goals are to be fit, tight, toned and comfortable in my own skin,” she tells us. “Ahead of the wedding, I’ve changed the intensity and level of my exercise. I’m also slowly increasing my running and pushing little Willow [the couple’s daughter] in the pram.”

No surprise she’s also breaking a sweat via PT Sam’s 28 program of home workouts. “They’re full-body and great for my core, plus the HIIT style means I burn fat and tone muscle without having to spend hours in the gym.”

As for nutrition, Snez’s current day on a plate reflects her already-healthy approach to food. “It starts with a coffee or a kick-starter smoothie (coffee, chia seeds, oats, almond milk, banana and honey). I generally don’t have breakfast until around 10.30am, and then for lunch I’ll have a Thai basil beef stir-fry followed by something like Sam’s sticky chicken for dinner.

“If I’m peckish I’ll have a snack, but usually these meals keep me full. Sam and I both have a sweet tooth so after dinner I love a sweet potato brownie.”
