Struggling to keep your face mask on your nose during the coronavirus pandemic?
A Redditor has revealed a simple hack for keeping the protective covering in place – and it stops your glasses fogging up too.
All you need is a plaster, which you can stick on the mask to hold it on the bridge of your nose.
The medical worker shared a picture of the trick on Reddit, which was captioned: “Band aid: the no fog, no slip mask solution”.
His post has garnered more than 108,000 upvotes on the forum – and many branded the hack “genius”.
One commenter remarked: “This man solved the second biggest problem of 2020.”
Another asked: “After almost a year of pandemic, why is this the first time I’ve seen this solution?!?”
A third wrote: “This is such a simple and smart solution.
“No one ever talks about people who wear glasses. It's not wearing the mask I hate, it's the fact that it fogs up my glasses all day long! Thanks for sharing!”
And a fourth added: “My hero.”
Other Redditors shared their tips for making mask wearing more comfortable.
A responder admitted: “I use garment tape.”
Another said: “Old surgical trick. Usually use paper tape since it comes off easier.”
A third wrote: “Medical tape is what basically all of the paramedics I work with (that wear glasses) use.”
And a fourth revealed: “I just tuck the top of my mask under the bridge of my glasses.
“It stops my glasses from fogging up and keeps my mask from slipping down.”
