Study: Buchinger therapeutic fasting is effective
The emotional and physical well-being is promoted according to a study by fasting cure
A study on the effect of the Buchinger therapeutic fasting was able to show that the method is safe and therapeutically effective. It also promotes the emotional and physical well-being.
The study was carried out in cooperation with the clinics Buchinger Wilhelmi on lake Constance with Prof. Dr. Andreas Michalsen from the Charité University clinic in Berlin. Evaluated the data of 1.422 were almost (41% male, 59% female) who completed in 2016, either 5, 10, 15 or 20 days of the Buchinger Wilhelmi fasting programme in the clinic.

The medically supervised fasting showed only a few side effects such as restless sleep, headache, fatigue or discomfort of the lumbar spine. These, however, could be easily, and without interruption of fasting treated.
