The Internet Is Freaking Out About Simone Anderson's 92kg Weight Loss
Simone Anderson lost 92kg in two years, and the internet doesn’t know how to cope.
The fitness blogger has gained attention from fans for her dedication to fitness and a healthy lifestyle, but more importantly for her positive attitude and inspiring words.
The 24-year-old kiwi shared an amazing weight loss transformation this week, and the change was so major people couldn’t believe it was the same girl!
“Exactly two years ago I started Simone’s Journey to Health where I made the decision to overhaul my entire diet, mind set and lifestyle. What a journey it has been from 169kg to 77kg!” she wrote.
“Looking back and remembering how many tears and emotions came before I pressed “post” I am so proud of myself for every single step I have gone through and having the guts to make my journey a public one,” she continued. “There have been so many days I have wanted to give up and revert to my old lifestyle, but I haven’t. Thank you to everyone of you who have been there every single step of the way, I know for sure I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for your constant support, kind comments and words and heartfelt messages. I am more grateful than you will ever know and I can’t thank you enough!”
Despite her inspiring attitude and posts, Simone has sadly had to deal with trolls claiming her photos are “fake.” Last year, before her excess skin removal surgery, she posted about the side of weight loss rarely seen on Instagram fit pages:
“I don’t no why but every single comment that called me out for being fake and a liar really bothered me far more than it should. I think it’s because it took hours of crying and debating whether to share my story online and for others to see,” she wrote. “So here we go I hope this helps all the “non believers.”
Simone regularly posts about the struggles she faces, from stretch marks to scars she’s obtained from skin removal surgeries…
Metro reports that Simone now works out for 1-2 hours every day, and is training for a marathon. She says her diet is just “common sense,” so eating in moderation and trying to avoid processed foods.
Congrats to the blogger for keeping her head held high despite the trolls! And thanks for inspiring us to keep up a healthy lifestyle!
