Bachelor’s Lauren and Arie Haven’t ‘Met Anyone’ With Their Chosen Baby Name

Trying something new! Pregnant Lauren Luyendyk (née Burnham) revealed that she and her husband, Arie Luyendyk Jr., have already chosen an original moniker for their baby.

“We’ve had her name picked out since Christmas!” the Bachelor alum, 27, wrote on her Instagram Story on Thursday, March 21. “We think it’s beautiful and unique. We’ve never met anyone with her name.”

Us Weekly broke the news in November 2018 that the reality star, who married Arie, 37, in January 2019, have a little one on the way.

“Arie came out with the test in his hand and tears in his eyes,” the mom-to-be told Us at the time. In the reveal photos, she kissed the former Bachelor while holding ultrasound shots.

Us exclusively revealed that they’re having a baby girl two months later. “I was really nervous to be a boy mom because I just don’t know that I can relate as well, being a woman relating to a little boy,” Lauren told Us.“I have a little brother, and he’s so sweet and I love him to death, but sometimes I don’t really understand why he acts that way he does. I’m feeling a lot more confident in being able to be a girl mom first!”

After sharing a hint about her baby name on her Instagram Story, the ABC personality opened up about her pregnancy journey so far.

“Overall, I have loved being pregnant,” she said. “I think I’m really going to miss it when it’s over, but it’s just really special having a bond with your baby before anyone meets them. But, you know, it’s not always easy, so you’ve got to take the good with the bad.”

She added: “[Arie and I] wanted kids soon after we were married. My friends told me it would probably take awhile so we stopped being all that careful and then, SURPRISE!”
