Next Steps? Nick Jonas Shares Family Plans With Priyanka Chopra

Tick tock! Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas tied the knot in December 2018, and the musician opened up about their family plans.

“We’re taking our time,” the Jonas Brother, 26, told Extra Opens a New Window. on Monday, April 15.

For now, the Jumanji actor is focusing on another set of nuptials: His brother Joe Jonas is set to wed Sophie Turner this summer.

“They’re going to have a beautiful wedding,” Nick said of the DNCE member, 29, and Game of Thrones star, 23. “For the planning aspect and everything like that, [he] needs me. I know Joe very well.”

In October 2018, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that the “Jealous” singer and his then-fiancée, 36, were anxious to start a family.

“Nick and Priyanka can’t wait to get married. They have amazing chemistry and can’t wait to have kids,” the insider told Us at the time. “They are going to wait until after the wedding to start trying. But it’s definitely on the agenda.”

The New Jersey native echoed this sentiment on Spotify’s “The Rewind With Guy Raz” in December 2019. “I definitely want to be a father someday,” he said. “I think that’s a real dream.”

Nick added: “I think I’ve had to grow up pretty quick. With that, you could look at it two ways. You could say that was unfair or you could say it’s given me some real perspective at an early age and I’ve seen a lot of life at an early age, and I hope to be able to share that with a kid of my own someday.”

Us exclusively revealed in May 2018 that he and the Quantico alum had started dating, confirming their engagement two months later.
