Blake Lively Trolls Ryan Reynolds for His Bad Parenting

Don’t you love it when celebrity couples troll each other? We sure do. A Simple Favor actor Blake Lively just called out her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for his “lousy” parenting — and we are so here for it.

Reynolds recently posted to Twitter about his upcoming flick, Detective Pikachu. In the seriously funny video clip, Reynolds discusses his rigorous approach (*cough*) to getting into character.

“As many of you know, I vanish into my roles. You know, this is a funny anecdote,” Reynolds says. “I was on my way to pick up my daughters from school when I heard that I got the role. Well, I didn’t show up at school. Because Detective Pikachu doesn’t know who those two little girls are. Who are they?”

Then Lively takes over, adding, “They’re our daughters. He just left them.”

“He doesn’t have a wife,” Reynolds answers. “No. He’s a little yellow guy.”

Lively adds, “I mean, he didn’t even change his voice. It just sounds like him.”

Reynolds continued that his girls with Lively — James, 4, and Inez, 2 — “may never see their dad again.” He added, “[Y]ou can be damn sure they’ll be looking up at the big screen this summer, and they are going to see Detective Pikachu.”

Lively cracks up, shaking her head. “We’re not going,” she says.
