Move Over, Two Buck Chuck – Aldi Is Now Selling Bottled Sangria For Less Than $5
We won’t lie — when it comes to our summer sippers, we like wines that are served ice cold, slightly sweet, and won’t break the bank. You don’t want to put a fancy, expensive bottle in a glass with a few ice cubes, but honestly, sometimes nothing hits the spot like a slightly-sweet and super chilled wine on a hot, humid day. Now, thanks to three new varietals from Moiselle, a wine brand available at Aldi, all of our summer wine dreams are coming true.
For lovers of white wine, there’s Moiselle White Sangria. According to Aldi, it has notes of pineapple, orange, and peach, and they recommend pairing it with guacamole, empanadas, and paella, some of our favorite summer foods.
Red wine lovers may gravitate toward the classic Moiselle Sangria, a red wine with “hints of orange, lemon and lime.” Aldi suggests pairing this bottle with roasted chipotle salsa, cheese platters, or calamari.
Last but definitely not least, they have a new offering for rosé fiends. The Moiselle Sweet Grapefruit Rosé is an ideal choice for people who don’t usually like wine, thanks to its sweet and citrusy flavor.
The three new varietals are available starting today, and lest you worry you’re going drain your bank account stocking up on these summer sippers, never fear – each bottle will be sold for just $4.49. At that price, it would be silly *not* to stock up, right?
