Giada De Laurentiis's Frozen S'mores Recipe Is The Perfect Summer Dessert You Need To Try

Weekends give us every reason to indulge. And we cannot stop thinking about this decadent dessert that Giada De Laurentiis shared yesterday, which we are adding to our no-bake dessert shortlist that’s perfect for summer (or anytime really). These are sure to satisfy your ice cream craving.

“Weekend plans include . . . FROZEN S’MORES. ❤️❤️❤️ Get the #recipe for these amazing treats in the profile link!” the Food Network chef captioned the delicious looking treat on Instagram. We trust someone who also advocates having chocolate for breakfast.

If you’re also salivating from this photo, here’s the full recipe to head into the workweek on a sweet note.

For ingredients, you will need two cups of mini marshmallows, one pint of vanilla ice cream, a half-cup of mini chocolate chips, ten whole graham crackers broken into halves, and some non-stick cooking spray. Before getting started, preheat the broiler on the high setting, and spray the non-stick cooking spray onto a baking sheet.

First, place the marshmallows on the baking sheet and broil them until they look deep brown. It should take around 30 seconds for them to appear toasted. Then, remove them from the oven and set them aside to cool for five minutes.

Next, in a standing mixer using the paddle attachment, use the medium-low speed to beat the ice cream until it is slightly soft. Add the toasted marshmallows and chocolate chips to the ice cream. Mix these three ingredients on low until they’re just combined. Immediately after, work quickly to scoop approximately three tablespoons of ice cream mixture onto one of the graham cracker halves.

Place the other half on top to make an ice cream sandwich and repeat with the rest of the ingredients. This recipe should make 10 servings.

Finally, put the sandwiches into the freezer for at least two hours until firm – and enjoy!
