Chrissy Teigen Just Shared a Cute Baking Activity Your Kids Are Going to Love
There are three celebs we can’t help but follow their every move on social media: Ina Garten, Giada De Laurentiis, and Chrissy Teigen. From immediately trying our hand the recipes they share — like De Laurentiis’ one-pot pork chop recipe, Garten’s quarantine cosmo cocktail, and Teigen’s carrot cake — to watching Teigen’s kids’ Easter egg hunt last month, these three women are basically all the entertainment we need. (OK, that’s not true; we can’t live without the Real Housewives franchise, either, and this season of RHONY is cr-a-zy.)
But just when we thought we’ve made and baked every recipe under the sun, Teigen shares a cute baking activity you and the kids will actually love — and the animal cracker cookie cutter set you’ll need for the baking activity is even available on Amazon Prime.
Teigen shared the cookie cutter set — specifically, Mrs. Anderson’s Baking animal cracker cookie cutters — on Twitter, where she can be heard in the video saying, “Honestly this is one of the coolest cookie cutter sets I’ve ever seen.”
The affordable Mrs. Anderson’s Baking set comes in a set of four multicolored animal cracker-shaped cutters, including a giraffe, lion, zebra and elephant. The product even includes a collectible shortbread cookie recipe, and it’s a popular product, too, with more than 330 reviews and an overall 4.6 rating.
While many used the cutters to make cookies and homemade animal crackers, other reviewers got a bit more creative. “I purchased these for my son to play with his play doh,” Jessica G. wrote. “They are my absolute favorite and he enjoys playing with them too!!”
But back to Teigen.
When she and Luna make animal crackers with this cookie cutter set, they top the cookies on none other than their ice cream sundaes. Genius.
“For Luna’s birthday, we decided to make their sundaes a bit more special by adding some frosted circus animal crackers (remember those??). Then, I topped it off with this simple homemade hot fudge sauce,” Teigen wrote on her blog Cravings by Chrissy Teigen. And, sure, fine, they used store-bought animal crackers, but we can only imagine that after buying that cookie cutter set, they’ll be topping future sundaes with homemade animal crackers — if they haven’t already.
