Online retailer Smoko—aka a “gift, tech, wellness, and accessories brand”—is selling a truly adorable ambient light inspired by the milk-tea drink.
The lamp is currently available for preorder and has an estimated ship date between June 18 and June 23. So while, yes, you’ll have to be patient for its arrival, by preordering the product, you’ll score 30 percent off. It’s only $12, which isn’t even, like, that much more than a real boba tea.
After initially selling out six days ago, customers took to the comments section on Instagram to beg for Pearl’s—yes, it has a name—return. And Smoko listened. “If you’re a fan of milk tea, then this just might be the light you need,” it wrote on Facebook. “Whether you are navigating through the dark or just want a cute decor on your desk, Pearl is your best late-night companion. Comes with boba balls too!”
According to the site, the lamp measures 5 by 3 by 3 inches and will automatically shut off after an hour to save battery life. Although it’s on sale now, it’ll likely spike back up to $16 once the preorder period ends—if stock even lasts until then, that is.
